FAQ

Dog Boarding & Daycare FAQ

  • Dog boarding typically refers to overnight care for your dog, where they stay at our facility for an extended period. Daycare, on the other hand, provides daytime care and activities for your dog while you're at work or away for the day.

  • Please bring your dog's food, any necessary medications, their favorite toys or bedding to make them feel more comfortable, and any specific care instructions you'd like us to follow.

  • Your dog will be under constant supervision during their stay with us. Our trained staff members ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care.

  • There are no additional fees for administering medication. Please discuss your dog's medication needs with us during the booking process.

  • Our staff members are trained in pet first aid and CPR, and we have protocols in place to handle emergencies effectively. In the event of a medical issue, we will contact you immediately and seek veterinary care if necessary.

  • For the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care, we require all dogs participating in daycare to be spayed or neutered by a certain age. However, unaltered dogs may still be eligible for boarding services.

  • It's perfectly normal for dogs to feel tired after a stay at our facility, especially if they've been engaging in lots of play and activity with other dogs. Just like humans, dogs can experience a "play hangover" after a day filled with excitement and interaction. Additionally, the change in environment and routine can contribute to their tiredness.

As for excessive drinking and eating, it's possible that your dog is simply rehydrating and refueling after expending energy during their stay. Dogs may also eat and drink more due to excitement or stress in a new environment. However, if you notice any extreme or persistent changes in your dog's behavior, such as excessive lethargy, dehydration, or changes in appetite, please don't hesitate to reach out to us or your veterinarian for further evaluation and guidance. Your dog's health and well-being are our top priorities, and we're here to ensure they have a safe and comfortable experience during their stay with us.

  • Before your dog joins our daycare or boarding program, we conduct a temperament evaluation to assess their behavior and compatibility with other dogs. We also carefully monitor interactions and group dogs based on size, age, and temperament to ensure a safe and positive experience for all.

  • We require all dogs to be up to date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough). Proof of vaccination from your veterinarian is required before your dog can join our program.

  • We follow the feeding schedule and instructions provided by pet parents to ensure consistency and comfort for your dog. If your dog requires special dietary considerations or feeding accommodations, please let us know, and we'll be happy to accommodate their needs.
